The aim of this project was to create and apply a regional digital maturity index to assess the level of digital transformation of micro and small companies in the Aveiro region. The index analyzes multiple dimensions, such as online presence, e-commerce, social networks, CRM, ERP, automation and digital skills.

In a pilot project with 150 companies, the index made it possible to segment businesses into 4 different digital profiles. Companies with lower digital maturity received targeted support, which resulted in an average 30% increase in the use of digital tools in just 6 months.
